Special Olympics Canada has provided positive experiences through sport for thousands of Canadians with a mental disability. Sports programs provide a stepping stone to community integration, and benefit the atheletes physically, mentally, socially and psychologically.

Jake's House was founded with the goal of providing a fully-staffed facility, in Ontario, which will offer assistance to autistic children, their parents and families in the form of respite services, information and also by expanding the awareness and needs of autistic children

Altruvest Charitable Services, a registered charity, operates BoardMatch, e-Learning and its Community Leadership Development program as governance resources to the voluntary sector.

BoardMatch is an online service that brings together charitable organizations in the Greater Toronto and Greater Vancouver areas, in need of talented and enthusiastic individuals interested in board governance and individuals who fit this profile. Candidates are oriented to the roles and responsibilities of board service and can access continuous e-Learning.
