motionball Fall Classic

The motionball
Fall Classic is a scramble tournament held annually,
this year at the renowned Angus Glen Golf Club and sponsored
by Air Miles and The Hive.
Golfers compete for the (somewhat)
legendary Fall Classic Cup in a team competition for lowest
net score. Prizes are also awarded for individual performances,
and the dubious honour of most honest team.
The details
This year's event is set to take place
Saturday, September 29th on the North Course at Angus
Glen. The tournament will be a best-ball format, with
a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Golfers are asked to
register between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm in order
to ensure a timely start to the event. Complimentary lunch
and silent auction, as well as driving range and putting
greens, will be available to all registered golfers during
this time.
Prizes
Thanks to our friends at FCM
Travel Solutions, we are pleased to announce
that this year's raffle prize winner will walk away with
a trip for two (destination TBA!) including airfare
and hotel! As well, silent auction items will
be available for bid. An assortment of competition holes
will be found throughout the course, so everyone has a
chance to walk away a winner.
Golfers will also be able to compete
in a range of on-course challenges, including longest
drive, hole-in-one, and closest to the pin.
Please also remember that we will be
awarding prizes for the Best Dressed Golfer – so
be sure to come dressed to impress, or simply to entertain!
Reception
At the conclusion of play, motionball
will be hosting a 45 minute reception for our prize ceremony.
An assortment of light snacks will be available, and at
this time we'll announce our prize winners. We hope that
you'll take the time to join us for this brief but important
finish to the day.
